Greenhills had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 9.3 runs) and they went ahead and made it four on Saturday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Cabrini Monarchs a 10-0 shutout. The Gryphons might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 17 contests by six runs or more this season.

Greenhills' victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 30-6. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.8 runs over those games. As for Cabrini, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-12 record this season.

Greenhills will host Whitmore Lake at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Cabrini, they will venture away from home to take on Hope Christian Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Hawks have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 11.14 runs per game on average), something the Monarchs will no doubt try to take advantage of.
