Anselmo-Merna lost to Sandhills/Thedford back in August, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Tuesday. The Coyotes walked away with a 2-0 win over the Knights.
Rhianen Myers paced Anselmo-Merna's offense, picking up ten kills. Myers got some help from Lily Thornton and her 25 assists. Myers also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Shayleigh Coleman, each putting up two.
Anselmo-Merna has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-15 record this season. As for Sandhills/Thedford, they moved to 24-5 with that loss, which also ended their four-match winning streak.
