Basketball Recap: Samuel Laliberte and Jack Primus Secure Win for Upsala

There's no place like home for Upsala, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. They came out on top against the Little Falls Flyers by a score of 58-47 on Tuesday. This was payback for the Cardinals, who suffered a 69-60 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Leading Upsala to victory were Jack Primus and Samuel Laliberte. Primus dropped a double-double on 16 points and ten boards, while Laliberte posted 17 points and five assists. The contest was Primus' fourth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Nicholas Guthrie, who earned five points and eight rebounds.

The win got Upsala back to even at 2-2. As for Little Falls, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Upsala Cardinals challenge the Browerville Tigers at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Upsala is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 59.2 points per game this season. As for Little Falls, they will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against Apollo at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Apollo has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 248 points over their last three games.
