Football Recap: Southeast Halifax Trojans vs. Weldon Chargers
After flying high against Northwest Halifax last Saturday, Southeast Halifax came back down to earth. The Southeast Halifax Trojans took an 18-6 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Weldon Chargers on Friday. The Trojans were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Chargers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2023.
Southeast Halifax's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Weldon, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
Southeast Halifax's homestand will continue as they prepare to take on KIPP P at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Southeast Halifax is facing KIPP P at the right time seeing as KIPP P is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Weldon, they are on the road again on Saturday to play Northampton County at 3:00 p.m.
