Baseball Recap: Three Straight Road Wins for Edmonds-Woodway

Edmonds-Woodway owes their pitching crew a big pat on the back after their performance on Saturday. They walked away with a 3-0 win over the Liberty Patriots. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Warriors.

Edmonds-Woodway saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Luke Boland, who got on base in all three of his plate appearances with one stolen base and one RBI. Toshi Gilginas was another, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases.

Edmonds-Woodway's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-6. Those road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.7 runs on average over those games. As for Liberty, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-12.

Coming up, Edmonds-Woodway will take on Arlington at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Liberty, they will face off against Bothell at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Cougars will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Patriots surely won't give up without a fight.
