Softball Recap: Lakewood Has No Trouble Against Palisades

After only two runs in their last game, Lakewood made sure to put some runs up on the board against Palisades on Thursday. The Gators blew past the Pumas 13-2. Considering the Gators' hitters had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

With the victory, Lakewood broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 5-9. As for Palisades, with the loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 9-12.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lakewood will face off against Lower Richland at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Palisades, they will take on Ballantyne Ridge at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
