Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Galena). They blew past the Fordland Eagles 78-38 on Monday. The team's explosion on offense also rewarded the Bears with their most commanding win of the season.

Galena's victory ended a four-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 3-1. As for Fordland, they now have a losing record at 2-3.

Galena wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 93-68 win against Wheaton on the 10th. As for Fordland, they will square off against Hartville at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Hartville will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Fordland surely won't give up without a fight.
