There's no place like home for Fairview, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Swanton Bulldogs on Thursday. The Apaches haven't had any issues with the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive victory against them.

The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-16, 21-25, 25-19.

Fairview found their leader in freshman Brianna Moninger, who had 15 digs and one assist.

Fairview's win bumped their record up to 8-2. As for Swanton, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 7-3.

Fairview and Swanton should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Ohio Rankings. The Apaches (ranked 106th) will meet Montpelier (ranked 707th) at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Swanton will face off against Genoa Area at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday with a big rank advantage (159 vs. 524).
