After losing to Community the last time they met, Eagleville decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Eagleville Eagles managed a 53-49 victory over the Community Vikings/Viqueens on Tuesday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Eagles.

Community's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Mattie Maxey, who went 5 for 6 on her way to 13 points. Maxey has been hot recently, having also posted two or more steals the last three times she's played. Alyssa White was another key player, going 5 for 7 on her way to 11 points and five rebounds.

Eagleville has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season. As for Community, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-6.

Eagleville will take on Richland in a holiday battle at at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Community and Huntland will compete for holiday cheer at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
