Football Recap: Ira Starts Season with Defeat on the Road + How To Watch

Ira had to start their season on the road on Thursday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They lost 36-16 to the Jayton Jaybirds. The Bulldogs lost against the Jaybirds in their previous head to head back in September of 2023, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 84-34 score last time.

Coming up, Ira will venture away from home to square off against Spur at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Jayton, they will take on First Baptist Christian at 11:00 a.m. on September 6.
