Basketball Recap: Cory-Rawson Comes Up Short

Cory-Rawson managed to slip by Crestline the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Fighting Hornets lost 74-52 to the Bulldogs on Tuesday. The Fighting Hornets just can't catch a break and have now endured four defeats in a row.

Cory-Rawson's loss dropped their record down to 3-15. As for Crestline, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-8.

Coming up, Cory-Rawson will venture away from home to take on Ridgedale at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Fighting Hornets will be up against the Rockets' rather soft defense (which has allowed 54.56 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Crestline, they will host St. Peter's at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
