Soccer Recap: Atkinson County Comes Up Short

Atkinson County was the 4-0 winner over Metter when they last played one another back in February, but their luck changed this time around. The Rebels took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Tigers on Friday. Atkinson County have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Their goal came courtesy of Adamaris Trejo, who's now up to nine this season.

Atkinson County's defeat dropped their record down to 8-5. As for Metter, their win ended a seven-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-12.

Looking ahead, Atkinson County will be playing at home against Cook at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Atkinson County are facing Cook at the right time seeing as Cook are stuck on a 13-game losing streak. Metter does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
