Softball Recap: Jacksonville Comes Up Short

After flying high against North Greene on Saturday, Jacksonville came back down to earth. The Crimsons came up short against the Carlinville Cavaliers on Tuesday, falling 6-0.

Jacksonville has also been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-13-1 record this season. As for Carlinville, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 15-9.

Jacksonville didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Routt Catholic on the 14th. As for Carlinville, they have also already played their next game, a 12-1 victory against Greenfield/Northwestern on the 14th.
