Recap: Carmel Rams vs. Christian Brothers Academy Brothers
Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only the Carmel Rams walked away with it. They came out on top against the Brothers by a score of 35-27 on Saturday. Carmel's victory was all the more impressive since Christian Brothers Academy was averaging only 11.42 points allowed on the season.
Carmel got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Christian Nunez out in front who rushed for 62 yards and a touchdown. The team also got some help courtesy of Leo Keesler-venables, who rushed for 75 yards and a touchdown.
Although Christian Brothers Academy took the loss, they still got scores from Aidan Good and Aiden Guzi.
The victory (which was Carmel's tenth in a row) raised their record to 11-1. They've been dominating during the games in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 15.7 points. As for Christian Brothers Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 10-2.
Carmel will be staying on the road on Sunday to face off against Christian Brothers Academy at 3:00 p.m. on December 3rd. Christian Brothers Academy is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt want to keep things rolling. Christian Brothers Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
