Basketball Recap: Cade Stewart's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Paxton over New Brockton

Paxton saw some tournament action on Saturday. They took a 51-43 hit to the loss column at the hands of the New Brockton Gamecocks. The Bobcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Paxton lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Cade Stewart, who posted 11 points and six rebounds. Another player making a difference was Evan Robinson, who had seven points.

Paxton's defeat dropped their record down to 3-7. As for New Brockton, the win got them back to even at 5-5.

Paxton will be taking part in a tournament against Headland at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. New Brockton and Andalusia will compete for holiday cheer at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
