Byne Christian gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Friday. They had just enough and edged out the Highland Christian Academy EAGLES 3-2. The Saints haven't had any issues with the EAGLES recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.
Byne Christian had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first two sets, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 18-25, 21-25, 25-18, 25-21, 17-15.
Highland Christian Academy now has a losing record of 1-2.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Byne Christian will face off against Baker County at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Highland Christian Academy, they will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against Madison County at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
