Niobrara/Verdigre posted their closest win since September 2nd on Monday. They had just enough and edged out the Chambers/Wheeler Central Renegades 3-2. This was a revenge game for the Cougars: when they faced off against the Renegades back in September, they had to take a 2-1 loss.

Niobrara/Verdigre found their leader in freshman Lynae Nielsen, who had 14 digs and four aces. Kara Kucera also deserves some recognition as she had her first block of the season.
