Wenatchee has gone a perfect 10-0 against Sunnyside recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Saturday. The Panthers will be playing at home against the Grizzlies at 1:00 p.m. The two teams each escaped with close wins against their previous opponents.

On Wednesday, Wenatchee needed a bit of extra time to put away Eastmont. They had just enough and edged out the Wildcats 3-2. The victory was nothing new for Wenatchee as they're now sitting on five straight.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Sunnyside, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. Their defense stepped up to hand West Valley a 1-0 shutout on Tuesday. The win was all the more spectacular given Sunnyside's disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington soccer rankings (they are ranked 167th, while West Valley are ranked 48th).

Wenatchee's victory bumped their record up to 7-0-1. As for Sunnyside, their win was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-4 and their overall record up to 3-4-1.

Wenatchee was able to grind out a solid victory over Sunnyside in their previous matchup back in November of 2024, winning 2-0. Do the Panthers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Grizzlies turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
