Soccer Recap: Royal Takes a Loss

Royal was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Highland Scots. Royal were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Highland apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in May of 2024.

Royal's loss dropped their record down to 9-5. As for Highland, their victory was their seventh straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-5-1.

As of now, neither Royal nor the Scots have any future games scheduled.
