Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Wharton). They simply couldn't be stopped on Tuesday as they easily beat the Hillsborough Terriers 74-41. The Wildcats have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven games by 22 points or more this season.

Leading Wharton to victory were Tysen Jefferson and Nick Womack. Jefferson made all 7 shots he took to post 17 points and five steals, while Womack went 6 of 7 on his way to 14 points and five assists. The dominant performance gave Jefferson a new career-high in steals. Another player making a difference was Nicholas Korpi, who posted nine points and five assists.

Wharton's win was their seventh straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 14-3. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.1 points per game. As for Hillsborough, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-10.

Wharton has already played their next matchup, a 64-37 victory against Sumner on the 15th. As for Hillsborough, they will head out on the road to square off against Lennard at 8:00 p.m. on Friday.
