Basketball Game Recap: Sterling Jets vs. Sacred Heart Irish

The Sterling Jets kicked off their season on the road on Friday and hit a couple of potholes. They were beaten by Sacred Heart 58-20. Sterling was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 30-2.

Brody Horstman was Sterling's leading scorer, having posted ten points. Collin Kinney held things down on the boards with six rebounds.

Sterling's defeat dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Sacred Heart, their victory bumped their record up to 1-0.

Coincidentally, the pair will both be playing Exeter-Milligan/Friend the next time they take the court. Sterling will host Exeter-Milligan/Friend on Tuesday, while Sacred Heart will host them on Friday.
