Basketball Recap: Alex Estrada's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Bay City over Brazosport

Bay City lost against Brazosport back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Bay City Blackcats lost to the Brazosport Exporters on the road by a 63-48 margin.

Bay City's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Alex Estrada, who went 5-for-11 en route to 14 points and four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Javius Andrews, who went 6-for-10 to rack up 16 points.

Bay City dropped their record down to 11-11 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Brazosport, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 20-11.

Bay City didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 72-64 win against Jones on the 18th. As for Brazosport, they have also already played their next game, a 68-61 victory against Rockport-Fulton on the 18th.
