Rock Canyon lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Mason Mills, who rushed for 91 yards and two touchdowns. Rock Canyon is 2-1 when Mills posts two or more rushing touchdowns, but 1-2 otherwise.

Caeden Reeder went supernova For ThunderRidge., throwing for 201 yards and three TDs on only 19 passes, while also rushing for 40 yards. Those 40 rushing yards gave Reeder a new career-high. Ryan Anderson was another key player, rushing for 103 yards and one score.

Rock Canyon's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for ThunderRidge, the victory also got them back to even at 3-3.

Looking ahead, Rock Canyon will square off against Fruita Monument at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for ThunderRidge, they will face off against Mountain Vista at 7:00 p.m. on the 10th. The Grizzlies will need to watch out since the Golden Eagles have now posted at least 31 points in their last three matchups.
