St. Michael won the last time they faced Santa Fe Indian and things went their way on Saturday too. The Horsemen walked away with an 8-5 win over the Braves.

The team relied heavily on Santiago Martinez, who went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, three runs, and two RBI. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in March of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Michael Giesler, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three RBI and one double.

St. Michael's has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-8 record this season. As for Santa Fe Indian, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 12-6.

St. Michael's will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Braves: the pair will be back at it again later today.
