The Edison Golden Bears will head out on the road to square off against the Brackenridge Eagles at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Edison's pitching crew has only allowed 2.8 runs per game this season, so Brackenridge's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

Meanwhile, it was a Battle of the Birds when Brackenridge challenged Highlands on Tuesday. Brackenridge blew past Highlands 9-3. The victory was nothing new for the Eagles as they're now sitting on three straight.

Brackenridge let Ernesto Nunez and Daniel Ramirez Romo run wild. Nunez scored four runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3, while Ramirez Romo scored three runs and stole a base while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. Edison's win bumped their record up to 9-4. As for Brackenridge, they picked up their first home victory, bumping their record up to 4-10.
