Football Recap: Dover Dragons vs. Chester/Seward Park

Dover won a close one the last time they played, but unfortunately they suffered a serious change of fortune on Friday. They took a blow against Chester/Seward Park, falling 43-12. The Dragons haven't had much luck with the recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.

Despite the loss, Dover saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Conor Drnek threw for 110 yards and a touchdown, and also rushed for 70 yards on only five carries.

Dover's defeat dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Chester/Seward Park, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-3.

Dover does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Chester/Seward Park, they will be staying on the road on Saturday to face off against Valhalla at 12:00 p.m. Both have allowed few points on average, (Chester/Seward Park: 10.9, Valhalla: 10) so any points scored will be well earned.
