Basketball Recap: Bremen Victorious

Bremen posted their closest win since December 19, 2024 on Thursday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 68-65 victory over the Evergreen Park Mustangs. For the Braves, this counts as revenge for the 51-16 win the Mustangs walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January of 2024.

Bremen is also on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 8-11 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.2 points per game. As for Evergreen Park, their loss was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 7-10.

Bremen will take on Sandburg at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday. Bremen has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Evergreen Park, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Bogan at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Evergreen Park is facing Bogan at the right time seeing as Bogan is stuck on a nine-game losing streak.
