Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask General McLane). They took their contest on Friday with ease, bagging a 70-8 win over the Franklin Knights. The victory continues a trend for the Lancers in their matchups with the Knights: they've now won seven in a row.

General McLane didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Lukas Kuffer and Charlie Salvo.

General McLane's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Franklin, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Coming up, General McLane will be playing in front of their home fans against Corry at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Beavers' defense has only allowed 12 points per game this season, so the Lancers' offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Franklin, they will challenge North East at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
