Basketball Recap: Jefferson County Takes a Loss

Jefferson County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a hard 49-35 fall against the Knoxville Central Bobcats. The Patriots were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Bobcats earlier this season, when they won 57-28.

Jefferson County's defeat dropped their record down to 5-8. As for Knoxville Central, with the win, they broke their seven-game losing streak and moved their record to 5-12.

While Jefferson County had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
