Volleyball Recap: Morgan Victorious

Morgan proved they can win big on Thursday (they won by three) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They skirted past the Cambridge Bobcats 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Raiders have posted since August 25th.

Morgan was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. The match finished with set scores of 19-25, 25-21, 21-25, 25-20, 15-10.

Madalyn Schaad paced Morgan's offense, picking up 16 kills. Schaad got some help from Kaidence Searl and her 26 assists.

Morgan's victory ended a three-match drought on the road and puts them at 9-14. As for Cambridge, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-13.

Coming up, after both having extra time off, Morgan and Meadowbrook will shake off the rust and duke it out at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Cambridge does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
