Basketball Recap: East St. Louis Takes a Loss

East St. Louis lost against O'Fallon back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The East St. Louis Flyers were beaten by the O'Fallon Panthers 82-20. The Flyers were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 46-12.

East St. Louis has traveled a rocky road recently having lost eight of their last ten matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-10 record this season. As for O'Fallon, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-6.

East St. Louis will host Springfield Southeast at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for O'Fallon, they will head out on the road to take on Normal Community at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. O'Fallon knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past four games -- so hopefully Normal Community likes a good challenge.
