Softball Recap: Waltonville Has No Trouble Against Century

Waltonville had won three straight at home, but on Wednesday they bumped their record up to 26-8 to make it four. They blew past the Century Centurions 14-2. The result was nothing new for the Spartans, who have now won 14 matches by six runs or more so far this season.

As for Century, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-9. Having soared to a lofty ten runs in the game before, they couldn't push the score so high this time.

For Century's part, they saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jaylee Vanmeter, who went 1-for-2 with one run and one double.

As of now, neither Waltonville nor the Centurions have any future games scheduled.
