Basketball Recap: Stigler Comes Up Short

If Stigler was riding high fresh off their 51-23 takedown of Wilburton last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Stigler Panthers fell just short of the Talihina Golden Tigers by a score of 39-37 on Thursday. The match marked the Panthers' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Stigler's defeat dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Talihina, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Pocola the next time they take the court. Talihina will host Pocola at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, while Stigler will host them at 7:30 p.m. on January 14, 2025.
