Basketball Recap: Caroline Comes Up Short

Caroline was the 56-51 winner over Eastern View when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Caroline Cavaliers fell to the Eastern View Cyclones 50-45. The Cavaliers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Caroline's defeat dropped their record down to 7-14. As for Eastern View, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a massive bump to their 6-14 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Caroline will face off against Culpeper County at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Culpeper County knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past ten contests -- so hopefully Caroline likes a good challenge. As for Eastern View, they will look to defend their home court on Monday against Courtland at 6:30 p.m. Eastern View is facing Courtland at the right time seeing as Courtland is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
