It was a good run, but Northfield unfortunately witnessed the end of their six-game winning streak on Saturday. They and the Grandview Wolves finished up their game with a 2-2 draw. The result kept Northfield happy, as they haven't lost a game yet this season.

Lila Emmetsberger was the only thing that stood between Northfield and a shutout considering she scored both of Northfield's goals, bringing her season total up to four goals.

Northfield's draw gives them a new season record of 6-0-4. Meanwhile, Grandview's record is now 5-4-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Northfield will face off against Thomas Jefferson at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Grandview, they will challenge Cherry Creek at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Grandview's defense better be ready for this one: Cherry Creek have averaged an impressive 4.2 goals per game this season.
