Argonia/Attica Gets a Boost from Vineyard in 36-28 Victory
Starting off the list is Argonia/Attica's Carson Vineyard, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Vineyard picked up 112 receiving yards and two scores, and also rushed for 97 yards and one touchdown on only 13 carries. His longest rush was for an impressive 60 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.
If history really does repeat itself, Vineyard might just drop another big game when he faces off against Norwich on Friday. Back in September of 2024 (the last time Vineyard saw the Eagles), he rushed for 194 yards and four TDs while picking up 10.2 yards per carry, and also threw for 22 yards and one touchdown.

Logan Gaither Dazzles in Oxford Win
Keeping Douglas company is Logan Gaither, a fellow Oxford player. He rushed for 67 yards and two touchdowns on only six carries, and also picked up 59 receiving yards and one TD. Gaither is crushing it when it comes to rushing touchdowns: he's punched in at least two every time he's taken the field this season.
Gaither is probably looking forward to his next game, a home matchup against Independent on Friday. Gaither rushed for 52 yards and a pair of scores on only five carries the last time he and the Panthers duked it out back in September of 2024.
