Football Recap: Saturday's Defeat Ends Priest River's Winning Streak + How To Watch

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Priest River can now relate to. They took a hard 28-12 fall against the Aberdeen Tigers on Saturday. Having soared to a lofty 48 points in the game before, the Spartans couldn't push the score so high this time.

Despite the loss, Priest River saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Layton Goins picked up 128 receiving yards and a pair of touchdowns.

Jeremy Partida went supernova For Aberdeen., rushing for 139 yards and one score on only 14 carries. Those 139 rushing yards gave Partida a new career-high.

With the defeat, Priest River broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 5-5. As for Aberdeen, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season.
