Caledonia had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the seven-run drubbing they dealt West Point on Tuesday. The Caledonia Cavaliers blew past the West Point Green Wave 9-2. The win continues a trend for the Cavaliers in their matchups with the Green Wave: they've now won nine in a row.

Caledonia's victory bumped their record up to 10-3-1. As for West Point, with the loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 6-4.

Looking ahead, Caledonia will take on South Pontotoc at 1:00 p.m. on Friday. South Pontotoc knows how to get runs on the board -- the squad has finished with ten runs or more in their past three matches -- so hopefully Caledonia likes a good challenge. As for West Point, they will square off against Starkville at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
