Baseball Game Preview: Brick Township Green Dragons vs. Bandys Trojans

The Brick Township Green Dragons will face off against the Bandys Trojans at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday. Neither Brick Township nor Bandys posted many runs in their last games, so it might be the pitching crews that decide this one.

On Tuesday, Brick Township didn't have quite enough to beat Austintown-Fitch and fell 3-2. The match marked the Green Dragons' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

James Donoghue was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with two doubles and one RBI. Shawn McLaughlin also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

Meanwhile, Tuesday just wasn't the day for Bandys' offense. They fell 4-0 to St. Vincent-St. Mary on Tuesday.

This is the second loss in a row for Brick Township and nudges their season record down to 6-3-1. As for Bandys, their loss dropped their record down to 6-12.
