Softball Recap: Seneca Comes Up Short

After flying high against Jeffersontown two weeks ago, Seneca came back down to earth. The Red Hawks lost 20-5 to the Southern Trojans on Monday. The Red Hawks were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Trojans apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in March of 2025.

Seneca now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Southern, their record now sits at 2-5.

Seneca and Southern will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Red Hawks are set to face off against their familiar foe Sacred Heart at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Southern will challenge rival North Bullitt at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
