Softball Recap: Marion Takes a Loss

Friday just wasn't the day for Marion's offense. They came up short against the Alexandria-Monroe Tigers on Friday, falling 13-0. The Giants haven't had much luck with the Tigers recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Marion's defeat dropped their record down to 5-15. As for Alexandria-Monroe, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 15-1.

Marion wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, an 11-1 loss against Kokomo on the 17th. As for Alexandria-Monroe, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 14-3 victory against Monroe Central on the 19th.
