Ballard won against South Hamilton on Thursday with 11 runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Friday. The Bombers' pitchers stepped up to hand the West Delaware Hawks an 11-0 shutout. The Bombers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five games by seven runs or more this season.

Ballard is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-2 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.6 runs over those games. As for West Delaware, they moved to 9-7 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.
