Baseball Recap: Skyline Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Skyline can now relate to. They took a 7-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bothell Cougars on Monday. The Spartans just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

Andrew Yurkanin was cooking despite his team's loss, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with two stolen bases and one run.

Skyline's loss dropped their record down to 8-13. As for Bothell, their win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 12-12.

As of now, neither Skyline nor the Cougars have any future games scheduled.
