Football Game Preview: Humboldt Wildcats vs. Webster City Lynx

Humboldt is preparing for their first conference matchup of the season on Friday. They will host the Webster City Lynx at 7:00 p.m. Webster City took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Humboldt, who comes in off a win.

Humboldt is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They claimed a resounding 45-7 win over Ballard. The victory continues a trend for the Wildcats in their matchups with the Bombers: they've now won five in a row.

Meanwhile, Webster City was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 34-21 to Gilbert.

The win got Humboldt back to even at 2-2. As for Webster City, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3.
