Basketball Recap: Buffalo Bison vs. Lincoln County Panthers
The Buffalo Bison won the last time they faced the Lincoln County Panthers, and things went their way on Friday too. Buffalo blew past the Panthers 72-44 at home. The win made it back-to-back wins for Buffalo.
Buffalo was led to victory by Asher Flanery and Jackson Mallett. Flanery scored 14 points along with seven rebounds and six assists, while Mallett scored 19 points along with eight rebounds and two steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Nicholoas Pitchford, who scored nine points along with three blocks and two steals.
Buffalo's win bumped their record up to 8-6. As for Lincoln County, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last seven matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-12 record this season.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Buffalo will square off against the The Dots at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Poca is coming into the match on a three-game losing streak. As for Lincoln County, they will head out on the road to face off against the Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
