Basketball Game Preview: Stewart County Royal Knights vs. Early County Bobcats

Stewart County hasn't had much luck against Early County recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Stewart County Royal Knights will be playing at home against the Early County Bobcats at 7:30 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

Stewart County is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 68 points two weeks ago, they were much more limited against Mitchell County on Tuesday. They were dealt a 64-20 loss at the hands of the Eagles.

Meanwhile, Early County came up short against Randolph-Clay on Tuesday and fell 58-48.

Stewart County's defeat dropped their record down to 2-13. As for Early County, their loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 12-7.
