Basketball Recap: Southland Academy Comes Up Short

Southland Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 45-33 to the Deerfield-Windsor Knights. The Raiders were probably out for revenge after losing 63-31 to them when the teams met back in February, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Southland Academy's loss dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Deerfield-Windsor, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 2-4 record.

Southland Academy will host Westfield School at 6:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Deerfield-Windsor, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 52-47 defeat against Sherwood Christian Academy on the 12th.
