Scottsboro has gone 8-2 against Arab recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Wildcats are taking a road trip to square off against the Knights at 7:00 p.m. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Fans were treated to a battle of the Wildcats on Friday. Scottsboro enjoyed a cozy 31-13 win over Guntersville. Scottsboro's victory was all the more impressive since Guntersville was averaging only 15 points allowed on the season.

Jayden Gilbert had an outrageously good game as he rushed for 95 yards and two touchdowns on only seven carries.

Scottsboro didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Gilbert and Aidan Rains.

Meanwhile, Arab gave up the first points last Friday, but they didn't give up any more after. They walked away with a 21-14 win over Douglas. The victory continues a trend for the Knights in their matchups with the Eagles: they've now won six in a row.

Arab now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Scottsboro, their record is now 5-3.

Scottsboro came out on top in a nail-biter against Arab in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, sneaking past 50-47. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Wildcats since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
