While Crooksville's victory against River View wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Ceramics had just enough and edged out the Black Bears 4-3 on Thursday. The win was familiar territory for the Ceramics, who have now won three contests in a row.

Crooksville's record now sits at 9-10. As for River View, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-10 record this season.

Crooksville and River View could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Ohio Rankings. The Ceramics will take on Ridgewood at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday with a big rank disadvantage (354 vs. 114). Meanwhile, River View (ranked 390th) will meet Sheridan (ranked 62nd) at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
