The Medford Tech Jaguars will head out on the road to square off against the Mastery Warrior at 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty run totals in their previous games.
Having struggled with three defeats in a row, Medford Tech turned things around against Willingboro on Monday. They put the hurt on the Chinmeras with a sharp 20-9 victory. Considering the Jaguars have won four contests by more than nine runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Jacob Inman made a splash no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out eight batters over five innings while giving up three earned (and four unearned) runs off four hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't tossed less than eight strikeouts in three consecutive appearances. He was also stellar in the batter's box, getting on base in three of his five plate appearances with four runs, two stolen bases, and two RBI. Those four runs gave him a new career-high.
In other batting news, Mason Simon was incredible, getting on base in all six of his plate appearances with five stolen bases, four runs, and three RBI. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in April of 2025. James Chase also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Mastery). They were the clear victors by a 10-4 margin over Salem County Vo-Tech on Monday.
Like Medford Tech, Mastery also got a great game from a two-way player: Raul Basilio. He pitched seven innings while giving up three earned (and one unearned) runs off seven hits. Basilio was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with three stolen bases and two runs.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Derwin Cabrera, who went 1-for-3 with one home run, two stolen bases, and two runs. Ricardo Basilio was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI.
Mastery was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .393. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.
Medford Tech's win was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 4-3. As for Mastery, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.
Tuesday's game might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Medford Tech has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .511. However, it's not like Mastery struggles in that department as they've averaged .441. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Medford Tech came out on top in a nail-biter against Mastery in their previous matchup back in April of 2025, sneaking past 9-7. Will the Jaguars repeat their success, or do the Warrior have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
